Originally created by Richard “Dick” Knowdell in 1977, the Job and Career Transition Practitioner certification programme has been well received by over 7500 career practitioners all over the world.

Today, this well recognized programme is taught in the following countries:

The workshops are delivered either in person for 3 full days or in a hybrid format over four days, from Friday to Monday. Online sessions are held via Zoom on Friday and Monday evenings, from 7:00 PM to 10:30 PM. In-person sessions take place on Saturday and Sunday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

Class requires minimum 9 persons to commence.

Exploring ways to provide career development individually and in groups.

Coaching Practice 

Participants will be working together to practice coaching using the framework, questions and assessment tools to develop their own career plan.

• Ability to use Knowdell Career Assessment tools to help others identify their career attributes
• Applying the Knowdell Transition Model to help others explore the career options and coach them to plan their career pathways
• Knowledge in the evolving landscape of careers and work in order to improve personal and others’ employability and employment prospects

The certification is awarded by Career Development Network (USA). The organization was founded by the late Career Development guru, Richard Knowdell in 1974. Since then, more than 7000 global participants benefitted from his training on using Knowdell Career Assessment card sorts with Knowdell Transition Model. Abundanz Consulting Pte Ltd was appointed the exclusive Asia Master Producer and Distributor of this certification programme and products in 2015

Career Development Network’s JCTP workshop received approval for 9.25 hours for Core Competencies and 15 hours of Resource Development from Continuing Coach Education, ICF. These hours can be used toward the renewal requirements of an ICF credential.
