What Is Your Personal Style? Why Does It Matter?

About
Some studies suggest that understanding your personality traits, rather than your passion, are what is key to career fulfillment and success. This may be an overstatement (as we also have values, interests and skills to consider), but choosing a career that is compatible with your personality can result in a great job fit. Conversely, choosing a career not suited for your personality may lead to stress and anxiety. Have you ever found yourself thinking “this work doesn’t suit me and these are not my type of people”? Well, that may happen if your personal style clashes with your profession or workplace.
Learning Objective
In this session, you will get an overview of the Personal Style Indicator (PSI), a leading personal style assessment instrument that identifies your general orientation towards tasks, people, situations and time. This helps you to make choices about your career and work environment that ultimately lead to job fit and satisfaction.
